and you still cannot make all thirteen tricks
|
On
the following “contrived” hand even though North South have all 40 High Card
Points it is not possible to make 13 tricks. The club suit is blocked and
eventually West will make a Diamond assuming he doesn’t throw one away while
declarer is cashing 8 winners in the other suits before touching Diamonds.
