          With KQ6543   don't just look at this suit and say you have only 6 points- look at it and say you potentially have 4/5 tricks.

        ADVANCED TIP 779                    

    L     Light openers in 3^rd and 4^th seat-

a)    in 3^rd seat as long as you have good five card suit go for it- if you end up defending partner will now know what to lead.

b)   In 4^th seat unless you can control the spade suit don't open light otherwise you give opponents chance to compete when they didn't bid in first place.
