The old maxim here “Having same other suit as declarer then lead a trump” works wonders here”.

With very good Diamonds which you would like to make, you need to get the trumps out of dummy and the best way to do that is to lead a trump. Sometimes leading a singleton trump can be very costly as it crucifies any holding partner might have in trumps but here the trump lead works wonders.

Partner is on the same wavelength and after winning the Ace plays a second round of trump.

Now declarer can only ruff one losing Diamond in dummy and will eventually lose 1 Heart two Spades and a Diamond. With a non trump lead declarer will be able to ruff diamond in dummy twice and ultimately make 10 tricks.
