When my partner, Michael Chou, played this hand, he played it to perfection eventually establishing the 13th Spade in order to chuck is losing club.

After the lead he played low from dummy- plenty of time to take a spade finesse later.

After winning the first trick in hand he took a losing Heart finesse. East switched to a Diamond and he had no choice but to play his Queen which  won. He now drew trumps pleased to see the suit breaking 3:2. He now re-entered his hand with a club in order to take the spade finesse and as expected the Queen was with East.

East now played the Diamond King which he was able to win. He now played another spade and because the spade suit broke 3: he was now able to cash the ♠6 and chuck away his club loser.

Now he was able to ruff the last diamond and the last club.

He eventually made 2 Spades, 2 trumps, 2 Diamonds, 2 Clubs, 1 established Spade and 1 club ruff and 1 diamond ruff bringing his total to 11 tricks.
