In bridge there is something called "OPEN BOOK" whereby you don't need to be an expert to know where all the important cards lie. This hand is an example of an "Open Book" hand.

EW were playing weak Jump Overcalls and when opportunity arose West merely overcalled with 1♠ not a weak Jump overcall. So it appears that he probably has all the outstanding important cards that are not in the dummy i.e. the two major suit Kings and the Diamond Ace.

This now takes away any guesses on how to play the trump suit.

After winning the first trick, merely play the trump Ace followed by low one to dummy's Queen.

West will now make a Spade, the King of trumps and the Diamond Ace and you will make the rest 10 tricks-3 trumps, 1 Spade, 3 Diamonds and 3 clubs.

(NB If you were a fan of playing for split honours in the trumps suit and running the Queen from dummy and later finessing the 10 in hand and had not realised this was an Open Book hand then you will fail, losing 2 trumps as well as a Spade and a Diamond)
