After leading the Ace of your partner’s suit dummy comes down with a singleton Club and partner follows suit with the §9- what does this mean?
When there is a singleton in dummy partner should be making a suit preference signal at trick one to tell you what suit he wants you to switch to.
The §9 is the higher of the two suits left (barring clubs and trumps) so partner is telling you to switch to a Spade.
Once you switch to a spade you will obtain a second trick.
Any other continuation and declarer will make 12 tricks for a complete bottom to you unless some of the North Souths venture into 6ª and are allowed to make it, but you really should not be in 6ª here with two aces missing J
