ON BBO my partner played this hand to perfection. With such good trumps he decided to establish the Diamonds (his suit).

Firstly, he ducked the first trick and West played a second Club.

He now played two rounds of Diamonds followed by a Diamond ruff . If the opponents were going to over-ruff this it would be with the Ace of Trumps. However the Diamonds broke nicely and now it was a simple matter of drawing trumps nd enjoying the long Diamond.

He eventually made, 3 trumps from the long hand, 2 Diamonds, one Diamond ruffed, 2 established Diamonds and 2 Black Aces losing just 1 Spade, 1 Heart and 1 Club.
