3♦ shows good raise in Spades and 5♦ cue bid was looking for a spade Slam
You have managed to avoid a Heart lead which would give you no chance.
Can you now make 11 tricks?
Counting your winners without doing any work at all you just have the three Aces UGH
However when you count losers, it is a different story- 1 trump , 1 Heart and 1 Club only.
If the clubs break you will be able to discard a Heart on the established club but the bidding suggests that the clubs will not be breaking with East showing a very big red suited hand. Therefore the only way to play the Clubs is to keep playing up to the QJ in your hand leading from the dummy each time.
With all this in mind, you win first trick in dummy and lead a Spade to your King taken by the Ace. West plays another Diamond which you are now able to trump.
Draw the last trump keeping that precious ♠9 on table as you will need it as an entry. Now play Ace and another club when East sensibly plays low. You can now re-enter dummy with that precious ♠9 in order to lead up to your club again. East takes his king and now switches to a Heart but fortunately for you its too late. You take the Ace and trump a Diamond in order to get back to hand and now chuck your Losing Heart on the now well and truly established Club Jack. Now you can trump your losing Heart in dummy and make your contract.
You made 3 Clubs, 1 Diamond, 1 Diamond ruffed 1 Heart ruffed and 5 trumps in their own right, losing just one club and 1 Spade.
