Once you get to this well judged 6¨ contract can you now wrap up 12 tricks. Yes you can, if you count your winners and realize how much work there is to be done.

Initially you have 1 Spade winner, 6 Diamond winners and 3 Spade winners totalling 10 without any problem. Therefore you need to generate just two more,

This can be done very easily as long as you semi delay drawing trumps because you will need to ruff 2 Spades in the short hand, dummy.

After winning the first trick come back to hand with a trump and ruff a Spade. Re-enter hand with a high club in order to ruff a second Spade. Now come back to hand via the other high Club, draw trumps and claim your 12 tricks by way of 1 Spade, 6 Trumps from the long hand, 3 Clubs and two Spade ruffs.
