So many contracts can go down if only more people have "PATIENCE" and this week you will certainly need to have patience before you obtain the 5th and setting trick for the defence.

After you drop the Queen at trick 1 and partner plays a second Diamond. Partner now needs to obtain the lead in order to play a Diamond for you to ruff and take a third trick. After looking at dummy you realise your best bet is via a club and at trick 3 you duly play your Jack trying to create some sort of finesse position against declarer if partner happens to have AQ of Clubs. Declarer plays the Queen with partner winning the trick with the Ace, and now plays a third diamond and you are able to ruff- this is now your 4th defensive trick and this is the point where you must be PATIENT and NOT GET BUSY. You only need one more trick to defeat the 3♥ contract and you will certainly come to one more trick (from your Spade king sitting over dummy) as long as you do not play a spade. So now exit with another club and just wait. If you dare play a Spade at this point declarer will be able to win with the Queen or Jack and throw his other spade on the master Diamond in dummy.
