As long as trumps break no worse than 3: 2 it should be an easy ride.

However it cannot hurt to explore the trump suit more carefully and keep those tenaces in tact. A9 in dummy and Q10 in hand.

Firstly make sure you first trick in hand retaining that Club King, as an entry to the Spades later.

Therefore at trick two after winning the club lead play the trump King and see what gives. Nothing of interest there as each opponent follows with a low card. BUT look again, West followed with the ♥8 and if that is a true card either the Jack will fall next or it is a singleton. Having worked this out it is now vital to play the ACE NEXT and verify what that 8 was. Yes it was a singleton and because of your due care and attention you are able to finesse East's remaining J6 of trumps. Having drawn trumps you now play on Spades and when this suit breaks 4:2 you can in fact claim 14 tricks- OH  NO you throw one anyway on one of your top Diamonds on the Spade at the end - you made 6 spades, 4 Hearts, 1 Diamond and 2 clubs (or 2 Diamonds and 1 Club)
