This hand is relatively simple. Initially you have 5 top spades, 4 top Hearts 1 Top Diamond and two top clubs bringing your winners calculation to 12 so where are you going to generate 1 extra trick. If you trump one club, you are trumping in the long hand and you have already counted 5 tricks from the long hand. However, if you count your tricks differently as follows, 4 top trumps only from dummy and 2 club ruffs in your hand the total will come to 13 by way of a DUMMY REVERSAL whereby the hand with more trumps becomes the hand with less trumps becaus you have ruffed twice in the long hand.
Now you make 4 trumps, 4 Hearts, 1 Diamond 2 Clubs and 2 club ruffs.
