This hand comes from the red sea Bridge festival 2021 held in Eilat. I held the South hand and after a somewhat strange auction with Ana Zoranda from Serbia  (due to a bidding misunderstanding- I thought 4♣ was a Cue bid agreeing Hearts) I landed in 6NT

Could it be made?- I must now come clean and tell you "I failed after relying on Diamonds to break 3:3".

However, after a lot of deliberation and help from a "Certain Andrew Robson" a solution was found.

After the lead it seems that West has led from her longest suit probably four card suit.

In order to make the contract the Heart Ace has to be onside. If East has length in Hearts and is also guarding Diamonds then you can operate a squeeze against him by playing off all your black cards straight away leaving East with just red cards (or there i still the possibility that Diamonds were breaking 3:3)

With all this in mind, win the first trick and unblock the other top Spade and now play off all your club winners and other top Spade in dummy. On the 4th round of clubs East will come down to two Hearts in order to protect the Diamonds. You now play a Heart to your King and your Heart ten will be your 12th trick

You will make 3 Spades, 2 Hearts (believe it or not) 3 Diamonds and 4 clubs. and you would have got 90% on the board instead of 10%.
