This hand was recently played against me by Carolyn a pupil of my friend Anna and she played it to perfection and I am sure her teacher is very proud of her.

Initially you can count 10 winners by way of 6 trumps 3 more aces and the Diamond King.

Believe it or not the most important card in dummy is the ♠9, and the most important card in hand is the ♠7.

After winning the first trick she drew ONLY two rounds of trumps keeping that valuable ♠9 on the table as the entry back to the Diamonds. She then played King the Ace of Diamonds pleased to see the Diamonds behaving (3:2 68% Chance) before trumping a diamond with the ♠Queen retaining the ♠7 to get back to the ♠9 (the entry) before cashing the three established Diamonds bringing home all 13 tricks for a massive 13 Imp swing.
