Normally when you have a lot of trumps, and quite frankly when the opponents are playing  with Spades as trumps, you do have a lot of trumps here, it is best to make a long suit lead and hope declarer loses control of the trump suit (Long in Trump Lead Length is the expression that should come to mind).

However the semi hesitant auction we have had here suggests partner has values and if you can get two ruffs then you could be on the way to defeating the contract.

With this in mind, you decide to lead your singleton Club. Partner wins the first trick and plays back her §10 which is a really clear suit preference signal to play back a Heart  if you are  able to ruff the second club.

You get in with a ruff. Do you now trust your partner enough to UNDERLEAD your ©Ace? Yes, you do and you play a low Heart to partner's King and he duly gives you  a second ruff. This partnership trust is going like a dream and you have defeated their fairly solid 4ª contract by one. You have taken 1Club,         1Heart and 2 ruffs for a well defended contract.
