In order to make this contract you will have to count your winners and losers carefully as you do on all hands JJ.
Initially you have 4 Spades, 2 Hearts 1 Diamond.
You will therefore need to generate 4 more tricks
On the losers front you have 1 Diamond 1 Heart and 1 Club.
Hopefully your will be able to throw the Heart loser away on 4th round of Diamonds.
The bidding certainly suggests that the Diamond finesse is not going to work so no point in finessing Diamonds. So you will only be able to generate 3 extra Diamonds and 1 Club ruff. However if you draw all the trumps, by that stage you will no longer be able to trump the losing Heart as you will have no trumps left in your hands.
Let's try another tack. Instead of obtaining 11 tricks by drawing trumps and then being a trick short let us go the REVERSAL DUMMY ROUTE and now make 4 Spades, 2 Hearts, 3 Diamonds from our hand only and 2 club ruffs in dummy the initial "long hand" and now we will get home.
So after winning second trick in dummy retaining Heart Ace in hand you can now play a low Diamond from dummy with East playing now you discover the bad 4:0 break. Now ruff the first club in dummy. Now dummy and your hand are same length in the trump suit. Now play ♦Jack which Eat wins- he cannot afford to duck this. He fires back another Heart which you win with your Ace. Now trum your last Club with the ACE. Now this is the point of dummy reversal when you now have one more trump that dummy. Your task now is to draw the reaming trumps and enjoy the Spades. Because you were careful and trumped with the Ace you can now play the ♦9 and overtake it with your ♦10 and then draw the last trump with the ♦9. (It was a good job that you had such wonderful Diamonds, diamonds that Marilyn Monroe would have been proud.
Now its a matter of enjoying those 4 lovely Spades.
