After a free Spade finesse at trick 1 - What Now?

You do not have a wealth of entries to dummy and but you would like to finesse Hearts but with poor intermediates you still have at least one trump loser.

When you get to dummy with a club you will be able to lead up to your Heart Queen. Here your trump Ace is a bit of a red herring becaseu if its not there you still have a finesse up to the Queen. So without much ado you cash the Heart Ace semi pleased to see the King fall from East. This means you now have an extra entry to dummy but still one trump loser. You now lead up to dummy's 10 which West ducks. You come back to your Heart Queen and now simply knock out the Club Ace conceding one Club and one trump

You have made 3 Spades, 4 trumps and 4 clubs.
