This hand plays itself as long as you win first trick unblock the Spade King and play three rounds of trumps ending in dummy. Then cash three more Spades as Jack falls and 10 becomes high. Now its just a matter of trying for two overtricks. Once the clubs are wrong side 11 tricks is there for the taking.

This hand is fairly easy and will play itself as long as you unblock the Spade king immediately and plan to end up in the right hand to dump your losers.

After winning the first trick with dummy’s Ace, play a low spade to your bare King. Now cash three rounds of Spades ENDING IN DUMMY (the short hand) Now cash the top Spades dumping all your Diamonds. You finally take the Club finesse and although it fails you have brought home 11 tricks – 4 Spades, 5 Hearts 1 Diamond and 1 Club.
