On this hand from OK Bridge my partner ended up in the wrong hand at the 11th hour to take one final finesse and unfortunately despite the cards lying well went one down.
In order to make this contract you will need to take 2 Diamond finesses and 2 Spade finesses and to achieve this you will need to be in the correct hand at the appointed time.
When the opponent switches to a Spade take the first finesse and play the Queen or Jack. Firstly you will attempt to draw trumps in two rounds ending in dummy. After two rounds you discover the trumps have broken 3:1. As you are now in the North hand take the Diamond finesse. You can then draw the last trump ending in South to take another Spade finesse and when it works, you are now in North to take one more Diamond final finesse.
You will make after all these successful finesses, three spades, 3 Hearts 2 Diamonds and 3 separate ruffs in Clubs Diamonds and spades.
