If all the finesses are working then you must play the suits in the correct order so that you do not get blocked.
You will also need to leave a trump on the table to ruff a club and each time you are in dummy (you will need to get there on at least 4 occasions) you will need to take Heart finesses.
Initially you have 6 winners and you are going to attempt to make that into 13 if possible.
After winning the first trick , take the Spade finesse which holds. Whilst in dummy take the first Heart finesse which proves to be successful. Now unblock the Diamond Ace before it gives you grief (NB you could have done this after the first trick also). You now go over to the Spade King to finesse a second Heart. Before finessing the second Heart make sure you cash dummy’s winning Diamond dumping a Club loser. Now come back to hand with the Club queen in order to ruff your last Club. However when you ruff the last club, nasty East overruffs you because he too only started with two clubs and has the last trump. However you have made a worthy effort at making 13 tricks and 12 tricks will be a very good match point score.
