Lead ♣9
Having escaped a Diamond lead where the opposition would immediately cash 3 diamond tricks can you possibly make up to 3 overtricks.
Well, you could immediately throw a Diamond on second round of clubs with the intention of ruffing a Diamond in dummy, the short hand. However that will only bring the total to 11.
Those Hearts look very worthwhile and maybe somebody has a doubleton Queen and then all dummy's Hearts will become high. This will ONLY be OK if you have LEFT AN ENTRY TO DUMMY, i.e. that Spade Queen
With this in mind throw a club first just in case they are ruffing your Heart on the second round (highly unlikely). Now, when you cash the two top Hearts the Queen in fact falls. Now its a matter of drawing trumps, hopefully in three rounds ending in dummy after cashing AK in hand. Thankfully the trumps break kindly (3:2) and now you make ALL 13 tricks for a magnificent MPS Score. You made 5 trumps (from the long hand), 6 Hearts and 2 clubs.
