(NB This was the bidding at the table whenI played this hand and North's rebid was somewhat bizarre but it worked on this hand J)

With the immediate favourable Heart lead (perhaps East might not bid 3) you immediately throw the Spade loser away.

It's now a matter of getting your club suit established. You expect the club suit to break 4:2 so you will need to ruff Clubs twice and therefore you need to  leave trumps in dummy for ruffing purposes.

With this in mind, after winning the first trick, immediately cash a second Heart and then unblock that Club. As you only need two trumps for trumping the Club suit you now cash the Diamond King noting the fall of the Queen (it seems trumps are breaking 3:1)

Now ruff a Spade to get back to hand in order to ruff a Club (the King will not disappear). Now ruff a second spade to get back to hand in order to ruff one more club, discovering the club suit to be 4:2. Now it's a matter of getting back to hand via a trump to enjoy the established Clubs. You trump another Spade and now you and West have the same amount of trumps . However you can play one top trump and then play off all your winning established Clubs and West can have his trump whenever he likes.

You made 5 trumps, 2Hearts, 2Clubs, 2Club ruffs, and 1 established club for a very good Match Point score losing just one trump at the end.

(NB The trumping of Spades did not generate any extra tricks - it was just a means of getting back to hand to trump the clubs)
