This hand is all about making life easy for yourself without doing anything clever.
After the lead you have 4 Spade winners. 1 Heart winner, 2 Diamonds and now a club totalling 8 winners.
If the trumps break no worse than 4:1 you will have an extra trump trick.
Where else to go for the extra tricks ? Finesse Hearts or establish that magnificent a suit in the dummy.
Nothing could be easier than establishing that Diamond suit.
East switches to a trump at trick two so win in dummy and immediately come back to a hand via a Diamond in order to ruff a club (The King can make any time). Now its a matter of drawing trumps as soon as possible. Cash dummy's King and now play a Diamond ready to ruff a third Diamond high. However when East discards you can ruff with your 8. Dummy's Diamonds are all now high. Draw the last trumps and go over to dummy via the Heart Ace and cash all your Diamonds.
You will muster 4 trumps, 1 Diamond ruffed in the long hand. 1 Club, 1 Club ruffed in the short hand. 2 Diamonds, and 2 established Diamonds.
