1. Strong No Trump 16-18

Initially you have 4 Spade winners, 1 Heart winner, 3 Diamond winners, and 2 club winners totalling 10 winners. So you will need to generate 2 more.

Once East leads the ♦4, you know he has four as you can see the 2 and 3 between your hand and dummy and both East's cards are higher then the 4 that has been led.

You play low from dummy and see what East contributes. East plays the 10 and you win the first trick with the Ace (later on you can finesse the remaining K9 in dummy if needs be.

You should now enter dummy with Spade Ace in order to finesse Hearts and play for split heart honours (75% chance)

East obliges and covers with the King. You now play another Heart which West wins. West gets off lead with a spade. You now play another Heart pleased to see the suit breaking 3:3.

You now have enough tricks and can claim. You now can claim 4 Spades, 3 Hearts, 3 Diamonds and 2 clubs.

Had the Hearts broken badly, you would have been able to fall back on a finesse of the ♦9 which would have also worked.
