After winning the first trick you must play a diamond from hand towards those wonderful diamonds in dummy, making sure you keep that vital trump Jack on the table as an entry.

West wins and plays a trump which you must win in hand so you can then play a second trumpand be on table after two rounds..

After winning the second trump on the table you discover the bad news, trumps breaking 51.

No time to despair. You have to hope the bridge gods are with you and West can follow to at least two more Diamonds.

Cash the Heart Ace before West can get rid of any hearts he has. He follows suit and now you can cash some diamonds whilst on the table. The bridge gods are certainly with you and you are able to cash 3 winning diamonds as West follows suit.

You now make 5 Trumps, 2 Hearts 1 club 3 Diamonds

(perhaps East should not bid 2♥ and West should not Double the final contract)
