1. Cue Bid showing first round control- here a club void
Have you listened to the auction? Are you a fan of leading Ace from AK Suits? or are you a fan of "Always Lead Partner's Suit"?
The bidding suggests that declarer has a void club so leading a club here might not be very productive.
Since partner initially overcalled with 1♠ it therefore seems to be a sensible option to lead a Spade.
A Spade lead takes the contract 1 down as declarer cannot discard his spade loser.
When this hand was played against me West led a Club (normally not unreasonable) and I was eventually able to chuck my second Spade on the established Diamond, losing just one diamond.
As the leader's partner observed afterwards, "Did you not hear me overcall 1♠?"
