When my partner played this hand her card play was exemplary.
Would she set up Spades? Would she set up Diamonds? Would she take a trump finesse? Would she finesse Spades? Would she finesse Diamonds. So Many options.
Well, first thing she did after winning the Club King was to play Ace of Diamonds and she ruffed a diamond delighted to see the fall of the Queen in two rounds.
Now that the Diamonds were established she played Ace and another Heart again pleased to see another red doubleton Queen. She now drew trumps and claimed 4 Trumps, 1 Diamond ruffed and 5 further Diamonds, 1 Spade and 1 Club for a massive 3.31 imp swing for making so many overtricks.
