The main message of this hand this week is to "Follow Partner's Defence", a very golden rule when it comes to defence   and very good for partnership understanding.

You must win with your King and play more Hearts. and as log as yoiu do that yiu will only allow declarer to make 4 Diamonds, 1 Club and 1 Heart and you will defeat the contract by three tricks. For some unknown reason my partner decided to switch at trick 3 and now the defence was over, except I now have a worthwhile hand of the week JJ Perhaps he will follow partner's defence next time. As it happened we got just a bit below average score instead of a complete top because most of the sensible North/Souths were playing in 4♠ losing just two top spades and 1 Heart.
