DBL = Negative (indirectly promising Spades)

With such lousy trumps at the start of the game you had intended ducking a round of trumps holding back the Ace so the opposition cannot draw an extra round of trumps. However, after winning the first trick with dummy’s Club queen you play a spade from dummy and the queen unexpectedly appears. Now you must be prepared for a change of plan. It now looks like the clubs are breaking 4:1 or East has a doubleton KQ. So take the Ace immediately and lead a spade back up to dummy’s Nine. This brings forth the King. The opponents now play another club and your King holds. Draw the last trump and throw your diamond on your lovely Clubs. By the end of the game you will make two natural trumps 1 ruff in each hand, 5 clubs and 1 Diamond totalling ten tricks for an excellent Match point score
