I watched this hand being played and was flabbergasted to see the opponents let the 4ª contract through.
With such a hood holding in Diamonds you make one of the best leads in bridge and lead your Ace and look at dummy.
Keeping everything simple you should now cash a second Diamond. Seeing all the top clubs on the table and knowing that any finessing in the trump suit is going to work you have no choice but to simply play Ace and another Heart and be pleased to see partner turn up with the King at trick 4. You have taken the first 4 tricks to defeat the contract by 1.
Whenever you see a great source of tricks on show in the dummy GET BUSY and try and make your 4 tricks quickly (or else!!).
Any other defence and declarer romps home with all the winners in both Black suits.
