 The hand this week was played on Ok Bridge by my partner Nate Lewis who played it to perfection.

After Hearts had been bid West decided to make a lead through Strength lead and led the Club Queen,

After winning the first trick in hand he now played back a Club to get to dummy where he played a Heart to his Jack and to West’s Ace.

West now switched to Spades. Now Nate ducked Spades twice taking his ace on the third round of spades.

He now led up to the Ace of Hearts disappointed to see the hearts break badly but now he had a count of West’s hand and knew West had started with 5 hearts too.

He cashed his Minor suit winners extracting all of West’s minor suit cards too and now played the ©8  and  after West won the trick he had to play into dummy who had the Q7 left for declarer’s 8^th and 9^th tricks.

His outstanding play resulted in 1 Spade, 3 Hearts, 1 Diamond and 4 clubs.
