Our hand this week is dedicated to my lovely long suffering students who love to use the term "cross ruff" incorrectly.

The hand this week is in fact a perfect cross ruffing hand.

Initially when assessing the hand you only 6 winners, 5 trumps and Diamond Ace.

Fortunately for you, the opposition has not switched to a trump or led a trump so now you can embark on a complete cross ruff of the whole hand and make your tricks as follows :- Diamond Ace and 4 ruffs in dummy, the short hand and 5 ruffs in your own hand and bring home 10 tricks and you have not drawn trumps at all.
