Plan your play in 3NT

Firstly my partner's bidding was hopeless not replying 1♠ and then he proceeded to misplay the hand.

Firstly you need to try and cut communications between the two defenders and hope the player with the long Hearts does not also have the Spade Ace.

So for the first two tricks you will hold up and not play your ace until the third round (when of course you have to do so).

You are now in the correct hand to play a Spade towards your KQJ. East ducks and when you play the Jack you win. Now it should be easy. Re-enter dummy with a club and finesse East again winning your Spade Queen now (with East ducking again). You now go over to dummy again through your club entry to finesse Spades one more time. East now plays the Ace and gets off lead with a Diamond which you win in dummy. You now cash your winning Clubs and Spade king and make 9 tricks. My clever partner managed to be in wrong hand and could not cash the established Spade King.

You eventually made 3 Spades, 1 Heart, 1 Diamond and 4 clubs.
