Having stumbled into this ambitious contract plan your play.

Initially you have 6 winners – 2 Hearts, 1 Diamonds and 3 top clubs.

After trick one with everybody following you know you can count on  3 more trump  winners. The other two tricks will come from dummy’s Spade suit and as long as the Spades are no worse than 42 then you can set up two tricks there. This brings the total to 12.

To set up the Spades you will need to leave entries to dummy. The entries are two top clubs and the King of Hearts. Therefore you need to delay playing a second trump. Win the first trick in hand and immediately play a Spade . The defence will probably play another trump which you win in dummy. Good news when the trumps break 22. You ruff a Spade and return to dummy with King of Hearts in order to ruff another Spade. When the suit breaks 33 you can now claim the rest by way of 6 natural trumps, 1 Diamond, 2 Hearts and 3 established Spades.
