When this hand was played against me declarer took his chances early.
Before either defenders could get their signals going, after winning the first trick with the Queen, he immediately played a Diamond. In second seat I of course played low and declarer played dummy's King and now declarer quickly rattled off 6 Club tricks two spades and the Diamond King to bring his contract home.
In a lot of hindsight, maybe I could have played the Ace and switched to to a Heart but it wasn't to be...
Perhaps my partner might have bid a thoughtful lead directing 3♥ bid over the 3♣ bid on the way to 3♠ and then I would know what to lead.......
