Once the opponents have taken up your space and you do not need very much you might sometimes bid like this declarer. When you see dummy your only hope is dummy’s Diamond suit. If the Diamonds break no worse than 21 then making 13 tricks will prove to be very easy.

You take the first trick and cash the Diamond Ace. When both opponents follow you cash two more Diamonds enter dummy with the “amazing ©Q”, your solitary entry, and then claim 13 tricks by right, 1 Spade, 3 Hearts, 7 Diamonds and 3 clubs for good measure (14 tricks)
