In order to make this contract you

a) will have to hope Spades break favourably,

b) West has led from the Ace at trick one

c) the Diamond suit will furnish you with a 9^th trick.

So at trick one go straight in with dummy’s King relieved to win the first trick. For a Diamond trick to materialize either the Diamonds need to break 3:3 or if they break 4:2 then a doubleton honour either side will be good enough to  establish a third Diamond trick.

Therefore play Ace king of Diamonds . The jack falls and you then play the 10 to dislodge their Queen. The 9 is now promoted. The defence cash three more Spade tricks (the suit breaks 4:4) and you get home in this rather anti percentage contract winning 1 Spade, 1 Heart, 3 Diamonds and 4 Clubs.
