I often tell my students that declarer play is generally a tale of two halves and this hand certainly demonstates this.

Firstly, we will need to draw rumps and then we wiill need to get thos Hearts going and the suit can be established as long as the suit breaks no worse than 4:2. At trick One we must also be aware of the entries to the North hand so that once the suit is established we can get back to the North hand.

With all this in mind, at trick 1, be aware that entries to the North hand are the A10 of Spades, King or Queen of Hearts, Diamond King and maybe the Club Queen.

Win the first trick in Hand and immediately play 3 rounds of trumps drawing the opponents trumps winning the third round in hand. Now play a Heart up to the King won by East's Ace (maybe East might have ducked at this moment in time) Having won the Ace he now gets off lead with the Club Jack and after you play the King, West wins with the Ace. He gets off lead with a Diamond and you can now play that valuable King in dummy (your entry card) Now play the ♥10 intending to let it run but when East plays the Jack you can now trump.

Now go over to dummy and play  your ♥9 and then your established ♥7 and bring your contract home with an overtrick.

You eventually made 4 trumps, 1 Heart, 1 Heart ruffed. 2 Diamonds, 2 established Hearts, and 1 club.
