This hand was originally written up in the Times and is an amazing Grand Slam where trumps are not touched until trick 9.

When west doubles 7¨ this is Lightner double for a Spade lead. North gets wind of this and knows that 7¨ is now going off on a  Spade lead and decided to try for 7ª

In 7ª contract declarer knowing that trumps are breaking 4-0 will have to play the hand out carefully to bring about a trump coup at the end of the hand.

With this in mind, declarer has to hope that East follows to three rounds of Diamonds.

So after winning the heart lead, cash the  Club ace, before entering the dummy with King of diamonds in order to cash second Heart chucking a diamond.

Now ruff a club before re-entering dummy with a top Diamond in order to ruff another club. Now cash second top Diamond before entering dummy with the remaining top diamond. Now trump a club, Re-enter dummy with a trump- NB This is first time trump is played at trick Nine to ruff yet another club and then re-enter dummy a last time with the last top trump and now your Q10 sits over East’s J8 and you bring home all 13 tricks and you started to draw trumps at trick Nine- truly an amazing hand.
