This hand comes from OK Bridge and my partner, Vickir , set about making 11 tricks.

After the friendly lead of a Heart into her AKJ she turned to her longest suit- here Spades- between the two hands. So as not to lose control of the suit she ducked a round of Spades losing to East’s Jack. Unable to play back a Heart, East got off lead with a Diamond. This went around to dummy’s Jack winning the trick, Declarer now ducked another Spade losing to East’s Queen. East played another Diamond and when the spades broke 33  declarer romped home losing just the two spades or more importantly winning 2 Spades (eventually) 3 hearts, 3 Diamonds and  3 Clubs.
