1. Cue Bids agreeing Hearts 2. With such fantastic Hearts now going for Gold ☺
Apparently 4
♣ was cue bid confirming club ace as was the 4♦ bid. South with AKJ of Hearts decided that 7♥ must be on and chanced her hand. After the club lead she played the hand to perfection. She drew trumps in two rounds ending in hand in order to ruff a club. She then played Ace and another spade trumping the spade followed by a 2nd club ruff followed by a spade ruff. While this cross ruff was going on East had to find two discards. He released 1 spade and then released 1 diamond as he had to keep length with declarer in spades or declarer's last spade would become high. However, unbeknown to him he was also being squeezed in Diamonds and because he released a Diamond when declarer played two top diamond followed by a Diamond ruff declarer ♦9 became high.
Declarer eventually made, 2 trumps, 1 Spade, 1 Club, 6 cross ruffs, and 1 established Diamond.
