On our hand this week we are looking at taking advantage of the opponent's mistake and being awake.
Leading the Ace King of Diamonds by West was very dangerous considering the Queen is on the table but are you awake enough to take advantage of the error.
Initially you have 9 tricks with no real chance of a tenth but there is hope on the horizon once the opponent leads a second top Diamond as your Queen in dummy is the 10th trick.
It seems you have no entry to dummy BUT IF you ruff the third round of Diamonds with your 8 can keep your 4 then dummy's 5 of trump will be the entry to that Diamond Queen.
You ruff the Diamond with your 8 and play two rounds of trumps delighted to see them break 2:1. Now with your carefully preserved 4 you can get to dummy with dummy's 5 of trump- YESSSSS.
