My partner showed his true worth when playing out this hand.

After winning the second trick with the Heart King he now drew two rounds of trumps disappointed to see the suit break 3:1

However, there was still an overtrick on the horizon and he showed everybody how. Next he played three top Diamonds followed by a Diamond ruff pleased to see West following suit. His first part of the elimination complete, he now played two top clubs. He then played a trump to West and all his hard work was now repaid, with West unable to play a third Club. Whatever West now played would give away a ruff and discard and now the third club loser disappeared. My partner made 3 trumps from the long hand (South), 1 Heart, 3 Diamonds, 1 Diamond ruffed in the Long hand, 2 Clubs and 1 Club ruffed in the short hand for a tremendous 90% Match Point score.
