If you go into the training
room you can in fact watch a “bridge movie” and see how the play of
this hand unfolds.
It is all about taking a trump
finesse TWICE. In order to do this you will need to get to dummy using the
Diamond suit each time.
After ruffing the second trick play ¨2
to dummy’s ¨10
in order to take the first trump finesse. When this trick holds, return to dummy
via the ¨K
and take a second trump finesse. Now even though the trumps broke 31 you are
home and dry winning 5 trumps, 4 Diamonds, 2 Clubs and 1 Heart ruffed.
