Part 1 Lead 10

Part 2 Lead 9

1. 2♣  is Game forcing  (2/1 system they were playing) 2. First round Cue bids  3. Standard Blackwood  4. 2 Aces

After winning the first trick in hand unblock the Club King, retaining the Trump Queen as an entry back to dummy.

Now cash the club King before going over to dummy with the Queen of trumps disappointed to see the trumps breaking 4:1. Now cash the Club Ace chucking the Heart loser away. West does best by playing a Heart taking away your entry to the wonderful set up Club suit.

Now you have to hope and pray the Bridge Gods are on your side and you will play the three winning clubs hoping that West can follow suit. YES West has all the remaining clubs and you can cash all dummy's winning clubs before trumping a Heart to get back to hand to draw Wests' two remaining trumps.

You made 5 trumps, 1 Heart 1, Diamond 2 Clubs, 2 established Clubs, and 1 Heart ruffed.

If a Diamond is led, again the Bridge Gods will need to be with you and soon you will have to assume certain distributions.

After winning the first trick unblock the Club king and then play two rounds of trumps ending in dummy discovering the bad trump break. Now play Ace of clubs chucking a losing Heart. Now play Jack of clubs. When East doesn't follow, chuck a Diamond. Now you will have to hope that the Diamond lead was a singleton and that West will not be able to play a second Diamond. West wins with the Queen and has no Diamonds left. He now gets off lead with a Heart taking out your valuable entry to dummy.

However, you can now cash two more top clubs throwing your other 2 diamond losers away.

Now trump a Heart and draw Wests last two trumps.

You will have made 5 trumps, 1 Heart, 1 Diamond, 2 Clubs, 2 established Clubs and 1 Heart ruffed losing just the Club Queen.
