Our hand this week deals with the dumping of a loser before touching trumps.
When you don't have trump control and the nasty opponent leads your most vulnerable suit then you may need to dump a loser in this suit before touching trumps. On this hand you have neither the ace nor the king of trumps and therefore have two losers in this suit that you can do nothing about.
However the potential Heart loser can be dumped on the third round of Clubs and the risk in playing 3 rounds of clubs immediately is worth taking.
Without much ado, you win the first trick and play 3 rounds of clubs pitching the second Heart from dummy. Now ruff the losing heart
Now its safe to draw trumps and claim 11 tricks losing just two top trumps.
