It seems that the opponents have got their defence right and know what they are doing in immediately taking two spades, a top club, and 1 club ruff. In order for your sacrifice against 4♠ to be worthwhile you now need to dump that heart loser.

With this in mind, you win the heart switch and now draw trumps.

After drawing trumps in tow rounds unblock the remaining high club in hand before entering dummy with a trump. Now cash the winning Club Jack checking away that Heart loser and you may now claim the rest.

You eventually made 6 trump tricks, 2 Clubs and 1 heat an your sacrifice in losing 500 was worthwhile as 4♠ is an easy make with the opposition losing 1 Heart and 1 Diamond- maybe they should have bid onto 5♠
