Dealer: South Love All

Although there are no more Hearts in dummy and you are dying to trump a Heart this will not bring you in a 10th trick and if you do this now then the opponents will get  a second Heart tricks plus the Spade Ace and take you one off which is what happened when declarer played this hands against me.

You are very happy the trumps broke 2:2 you will get to trump a heart  later but first you must get those Spades working for you. You also know from the bidding that Opener has Ace King of Hearts so cannot have the Spade Ace as well since he would have opened 1♥ and not 2♥.

So at trick 4 without much ado play a Spade up towards dummy returning each time (by trumping Diamond)  to perform the Spade finesse against West. As it happens the Spades broke 3:3 and you can establish the last Spade in dummy  for your 10th trick. You still have the Heart ruff for and entry at trick 12 which is when you actually need the ruff.

You made 5 clubs (some of then when you ruffed Diamonds to get back to hand) 3 Spades, 1Diamond and 1 Herat ruff in dummy the short hand.
