 Without  a final double from partner, you would, of course, lead a Diamond, the suit he bid. Now the Double says “Wake Up Partner and find a different lead as I want to ruff something” It’s a classic Lightner Double, but now you are expected to try and find the unusual suit he wants led, without dummy having bid anything. The suit he is likely to be short in, is your long suit, so without much ado the ©10 should be on the table. Partner ruffs the first trick and has the trump ace to come. When this had was played in a Teams of Four Match, in the other room they were silent and a Diamond was led and now declarer had no problem in wrapping up 12 tricks.
