The opponents have taken a spade trick and they will get a The Diamond Ace for sure. Where will you go to generate extra tricks without resorting to the Hearts finesse which looks like it make. The Diamonds should be played first and if they behave then there is no need to take a 50% finesse.
Win the first trick in hand with the §J and play a Diamond up to dummy’s King. If West plays low then go up with the king and ruff the suit out and now Dummy’s Diamonds will be established after two more rounds. If West takes his Ace straight away now its all over and you will make 7 Clubs and 4 Diamonds. Or 7 Clubs, 3 Diamonds and the Ace of Hearts.
